For those interested in the history of our local churches, the Frontenac News has two recent articles on the centenary of the Harrowsmith Free Methodist Church.
In the June 5 Frontenac News, Jeff Green related some highlights of the history of the Harrowsmith Church over its past 100 years. In the June 12 edition, Wilma Kenny covered the Church's centenary service held on June 9.
This inspires me to do some digging to see which churches were part of my Great-Grandfather's charge -- he was a Methodist Church circuit rider out of Brockville sometime before 1925.
